【Abstract】 Objective To investigate the correlation of the data of the severe acute pancreatitis (SAP) and the prognosis, and study on the risk factor of prognosis of severe acute pancreatitis. Methods Clinical data of 32 cases with SAP in ICU from January 2005 to December 2009 were retrospectively studied, including clinical examination, laboratory, image data, acute physiology and chronic health evaluation Ⅱ(APACHE Ⅱ) score, Ranson score and Balthazar CT hierarchy system of the survival group(18 cases) and the death group(14 cases). Result Hematokrit and blood calcium of the survival group were higher than those of the death group(P<0.05). C-reactive protein(CRP) and blood glucose of the survival group were lower than those of the death group(P<0.05). Ranson score and APACHE Ⅱscore of the survival group were lower than those of the death group(P<0.05). Conclusion The risk factors affect the prognosis of severe acute pancreatitis, including high CRP, high blood sugar, low hematocrit (Hct) and low blood calcium . Ranson score and APACHE Ⅱscore are good for understanding the severity and prognosis of SAP.
